I have had a wonderfully diverse career over the years. I’ve worked in the community services sector in disability, human relations and foster care and in the Victorian Public Service; working in human rights, and women’s policy. I’ve added to this by teaching management subjects at RMIT. It’s all been great fun. I have also benefited enormously from my voluntary commitments; in palliative care – providing companionship and support to the terminally ill through to Boards of Management in not for profit organisations.

All these experiences have been people centered and have equipped me with the skills to be adaptable, think on my feet, speak confidently in public and liaise sensitively with people in this role as a Civil Celebrant.

I embrace diversity in our community and delight in the myriad of ways that people from all backgrounds and walks of life celebrate life, death and everything in between.
